Puppy Guarantees...

Is my puppy guaranteed of OFA both hips and elbows?
     At Winning Ways the Answer is "Yes".

Do I have to return my dysplastic puppy before I can get a replacement?
     At Winning Ways the answer is "No". In over 25 years of breeding we have had only one one dog that we know about that was dysplastic - moderately so. Her owners chose to return her to us and we found her a great pet home where she is much loved and enjoying a great life as a companion dog as opposed to the breeding dog that she was originally purchased for.

If my replacement puppy also has a health problem will he be replaced too?
     At Winning Ways the answer is "Yes"  (although this has never happened). I purchased a puppy from N.H. almost two years ago. He had two dysplastic elbows and one dysplastic hip. I then found out that my replacement puppy would not be is guaranteed even if he had crippling hip dysplasia. Beware - read the fine print - ask the questions.

Will I be supplied with copies of the original hips and elbow certification and registration papers of both of my puppy's parents?
     "Yes". At Winning Ways each new owner is given copies of all the parents health certificates and titles as well as his extended pedigree, health report, vaccination records etc.

Our Guarantee...

All our puppies are guaranteed for up to THREE years of age in writing against any serious hereditary defects that would affect the use for which the puppy was purchased.

Upon receipt of veterinary certificate of such defect, the puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal or greater value.

Puppy need not be returned but must be spayed or neutered and proof of such received before replacement is made .

We always take back any of our dogs and puppies that cannot be kept for whatever reason. You won't find a Winning Ways dog abandoned in a shelter or dog pound.

Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs. Often we are able to find a ride for a dog or puppy that needs to travel in the U.S. or Canada.
